[s-cars] control arm sleeve install

so I am replacing the front lower control arms on my 1995.5 S6.  I have one side back together, but instead of pushing the sleeve (#10 on here: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/24392.phtml) through from the bottom I pushed it into the bushing before sliding the bushing in.  When taking apart the other side I realized the sleeve was below the bushing and went through the bottom of the subframe.  Do I need to take the first side apart and make it do that?  I am not sure I can get the sleeve out now.
