431 819 225 is the part number for the Audi part, Bob.

It is a foam strip adhesive on one side. The foam is impregnated with some butyl
rubber that takes a set when compressed and makes a water tight seal. I ordered
the part twice for a replacement but it was only 138MM in length, too short for the
airbox perimeter. Finally local dealer ordered quantity 2 in order to have enough and
the price remained the same because of some manipulation there.

I would just be sure that any replacement part will make a secure waterproof seal
since that plenum sees a lot of water
