Hi Mike,

>From my recent experience, if you let it go for much longer, the fender 
firewall will begin to crack as well and it becomes a far more complicated 
repair, requiring removal of the power steering rack and the need to weld in 
reinforcement from the inside....$$$!  As it is, I'll be looking at over 
$400 for the part and repair....if it is only as bad as it seems at the 
moment.  There is a lot of stress on that area each time you turn the wheel.

I'd get it taken care of sooner than later....

Mine's cracked on the driver's side- haven't fixed it yet.
