[s-cars] Best Gear Box Oil

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to hear what you think the best gear oil is for the old 1994 C4 S4.  I have been using BK or BG Shift II 75-90W full strength for 25K miles now and starting to notice resistance in getting into gear.  Not only is the car old with 250K miles it still has the 1st gear pinion issue whining about.  I know there was once an additive Audi suggested along with an oil change but that is no longer available.

I was thinking of using Motul Gear 300 Gearbox Oil - 75W90 next time.  What do you suggest & thank you?
