I think the reason for 2 W was an aging Audi population with eyes we need
more lumens... Though I will admit a 2 W bulb turned right down will last
longer, yeah that is it. ;-)
I purchased some LED based replacements but I've not had time to fit/test
to see how well they work. Will dig up the P/N for those.
