[s-cars] Crack in firewall - Steering Rack mount

I have these brackets waiting to go in but the metal behind it on the driver's side is so far gone its going to require the rack to be pulled in order to get at the area to weld in new sheet metal.  If yours is simply cracked, get the brackets and get them put on before you're in my predicament. Cracks can be welded from the outside...replacing sheet metal is a lot more work and welding, right Cody?

Second try at this post. 



There are brackets spot welded to the body at both ends of the steering rack. There can be fatigue cracking in the brackets or the body. There are new brackets available as: 

4A1-809-321A Updated Passenger Steering Rack Bracket 

443-809-489 Updated Drivers Side Steering Rack Bracket
