Occasionally, I get a whiff of odor from the exhaust that thinks the cat may need to be replaced. I would love to go full stromung, but I don't see myself keeping this car more than another year or two so I can't justify it.  Any economical solutions to this issue?  Besides just gutting the cat (I only drive about 3-4k/yr, but that still seems uncool).
