Hi Dave,
Yeah, I moved back to Canada not to long ago and am now living in Lake Country in the Okanagan. I will also be living & working in WA, but Lake Country is where home is.
And yeah, I just couldn’t stay away from the C4 S6 and so I bought yet another one. haha
My biggest problem now is that my wife hates the car and wants it gone yesterday. It’s either because it is red, or because I have too many toys.
She liked the green/ecru combination but won’t even drive or ride in the red/black car. She also very much dislikes the race car, but that is a whole other story that I’ll reserve to tell over a beer someday. ;)
I have bought some parts from Lordco since I am getting pretty great discount, however for reasons as you have suggested, I now only buy brand name parts such as Russell, Aeroquip, fittings n’ such from them and all others are OEM.
You are correct in that both Lordco and Audi gave me the filter without the adapter, and what I now need is the adapter (810133525A). I have no idea where the one off of the old filter went; I can’t imagine throwing it out with the old filter, but anything is possible. Thanks again for the info as that absolutely solved the mystery and now I can get the correct adapter/parts.
BTW, I’ll let you know next time I am heading through Vancouver.
Cheers,
Robin

The filter that Lordco has on file as a replacement for the AAN requires banjo bolts on both ends of the filter and there is no washer that will fix that problem. ;)
