Oil leaks at the valve covers extremely common), howling noise coming from the turbochargers under medium acceleration (a sign that they will need to replaced soon), and pay careful attention to how the transmission feels (they are known for torque converter issues). 

Overall they are great cars, and more reliable then S4s with the same engine because the engine bay is less cramped which helps keep temperatures more under control. I don't keep track of prices on those, but $2000 seems rather low to me... If that's really what they sell for I'm going to have to start looking for one, but I'd be looking for a manual gearbox car to avoid the transmission issues.
