[s-cars] intermittent ABS pulsing through pedal at complete stop

Hey all,

Many thanks to all who have chimed in on this….after a few weeks of travel, I was finally able to (very easily) track down the offending caliper and with a little R&R clean of the sensor, no more pulsing!  Sensor was in surprisingly good shape and cleaned up nicely.

With regard to my not having a VAG-COM through 10 years of ownership, I’ll be honest and say that I never wanted the “lite” version for various reasons, and I haven’t set aside the $300 for the real version as it has never been a priority (til now?).  I will admit to having been spoiled with the sheer knowledge and experience from this list that in the 10 years and 140K miles I’ve had her, the s-car-list diagnoses from afield have typically been spot on, and with the expert guidance found here I’ve done the majority of my own wrenching.  That said, the odd every so often CEL on the GF’s allroad may force my hand….
