Thanks Tom,
Apparently I missed that crucial step…..thanks!
I came up with codes 8.5, 11.7, 13.5
8.5 - Temperature Regulator Flap, static block, *08.5 Motor is cycled; software attempts to eliminate block
11.7 - Central Flap, sporadic block
13.5 - Footwell/Defroster Flap, static block, *13.5 Motor is cycled; software attempts to eliminate block
So, what to do from here? Same procedure as advised initially? If so, how does one clear these codes?
Thanks!

You should check the fault codes on channel 1 for the flap errors. If you have cleared codes, make sure to operate the climate control system through the range of options and temperatures so valid codes will be set. If not, record the fault codes then clear them, operate the system to check what codes still appear.
While operating the system through the temperature range observe the temp flap arms for movement by removing the plenum cover and watching the arms on the passenger side of the air box for movement. The motor/potentiometer is on the drivers side of the airbox with the wiper motor obstructing access. This is the most common failure since it is operated most, cycling between foot outlets and dash outlets as the temperature selected calls for heater or a/c operation. It is also the cheapest of the three motor/potentiometers.
This will be a reminder to clean the plenum and inlet behind the a/c evaporator coil if it has been neglected, and change the filter if you use one.

The initial CC diagnostics on channels 32, 33, 34 and 35 show no specific issue with the flaps per se, however on Channel 53, the indicators of where the flaps are is blinking/fluctuating all over the place….and change pattern depending on what fan input I select. So, it seems to me that the flaps are just “stuck” somewhere, but before I dive into this, wondering what and how I should proceed. I searched through Quattroworld and my own Audifans archives, but did not come across this specific situation. Any help much appreciated! Thanks!
