blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } My '92 with stock springs (the lowest ride height of the UrS4/S6) is on 245/50/16 BFG g-Force KDWS all-season tires on stock 16x8 rims. Doesn't rub except at extreme steering lock and I don't think I've heard even that lately.

I’m not too concerned about the 225 width, I actually prefer the extra tread and have no problems with “floating,” just want to be sure that with a stock suspension height that I’d be able to run the 225/55-16 without a clearance issue. Seems like I have plenty of room but just want to be sure. Thanks!

Jim,
You should be fine, unless you’re running winter wheels with higher offset. Clearance issues would be at the steering knuckle inboard rather than at the fender lip, and that would be easily solved with a 5mm spacer…
Best,
Lee
