The car sat for about a month while I recovered from back surgery; now it cranks but won't fire/start. I had a similar problem about a year ago. At that time I replaced the fuel pimp. crank position sensor and the cam position sensor. When testing the system components I get a reading of 960 ohms on the crank position sensor and the RPM sensor. Tests for the cam position sensor indicate that it is functioning properly. Does anyone have a way to test the fuel pump relay and other fuel supply components without use of the VW special tools; or do you have any suggesti0ons on what to check.
