Hey All, 

 

I have been a long time watcher, haven't really posted anything (at least in
a very longtime)  but have learned lot from everyone here.longtime ACNA
member, starting with an urS4.  I am putting up my red over black, 1995.5
urS6 Avant up for sale.  I acquired the car from 2Bennett in January 2006
complete w/ full service records. 

 

About 4 years ago the windshield was replaced and the seals didn't seat
properly and the car was parked outside (too much stuff in the garage). Long
story short, I was a business trip then vacation for a month and half and
the interior acquired mold. Tried myself to clean it.even got a replacement
carpet at one point.could not find the leak, and didn't have time to deal w/
it. I made space and moved into the garage locked it up, waiting for enough
$$ to do something .the dollars never came, and as a friend of mine keeps
telling me.you need to move on. so: 

 

The Good:  

.       2 Bennett State 2 front brake package (Brembo calipers w/ 318mm x 32
plain rotors)

.       2 Bennett coil over suspension (incl. camber/caster kit, lowering
springs, Koni shocks)

.       AAN motor

.       Total Performance Software 1+ Chip

.       Restored RS6 replica wheels

.       3rd row seat option

.       Clear side markers

.       Extras: Replacement front right fender, stock brakes loaded w/ Hawk
HPS pads

 

The Bad: 

.       Interior is shot due to a leaking windshield. White powdery mold

.       Paint is faded w/ some peeling clear coat

.       Lower body moldings are pulling back

.       Car has been siting

.       Rusted out bottom of right front quarter panel

 

So for anyone out there I see two options

.       Take on a winter project and save one the few urS6 Avants around, by
cleaning/replacing the interior and doing a mechanical refresh.

.       Pull the cool bits off and do what you will

Needless to say, you will need to trailer the car. $3,200 and will entertain
offers
