I don't recall the last s-car-list message I received but it's been months.  I wondered if everyone finally wised up and bought new cars! 

My '95 S6 is still a daily driver with 290K miles and counting.  I've given it to my son (also born in 1995) who drives it to school every day.  It's running like a champ.  Current repair issues include a new parking brake cable, replacing a cracked windshield washer fluid reservoir (discontinued but I found a used one on e-bay), sunroof no longer sits flush when closed, trunk lid collects rain water which drains out when the lid is opened, HVAC control panel lights have burned out, driver's seat heater is dead, high beams won't come on (seems like there's a short in the stalk on the steering wheel column), and the driver's side interior door latch doesn't work so I have to roll down the window to open the door with the outside latch.  In other words, all is well!

Oh, and it's still on the original clutch!

It's alive!  Yea, last message was from April 8th and last market post was mid-May.

I'm still cruising in my 95 S6 daily driver with 311k miles and ticking (literally - it ticked for 3 seconds this morning when I started it up - guess I'll have to check the oil in the morning :-).
