[s-cars] Fwd: Audi TT

Depending on the build date there you either have two latitude/longitude sensors under the dash. Bentley page 45-5 calls out #16/G251 as long sensor behind glovebox, and #22/G200 or #23/G202 (which were combined into a single sensor G419 with builds after 9/01) along the right side of the steering column. The part number for these individual sensors are the same prior to 9/01, if my recollection serves. All sorts of funny things happen with ABS/Traction Control etc. when those sensors are bad/on their way out.
Have you scanned for fault codes with Vagcom/VCDS or similar? That may call out which one is faulty (by the G#).
Probably $75 per sensor, and you're removing either the lower dash or the glovebox to access the sensors, depending on which one a scan indicates. If you're an early car, and the scan isn't conclusive, you can by a single sensor, and replace each sensor individually to see if the problem goes away. Expect to reset basic setting afterwards. See Bentley pages 45-9 and 45-10.
Hope this helps!

Thought I had sent this to the lists but found that I hadn't; so here goes.
I hope someone has some insight to my problem
