[urq] Foglight relay is not switching if engine runs

Hi Steve, thanks for the reply.
Originally, my '85 FWD CGT did not came with the front and back fog light. I installed them myself (new bumper etc.). Perhaps the fuse box is also different?
Anyway, it was not a matter of a running engine, but wether the main lights were on or off combined with the jumped M5 earth point to the relay from the box. When the main lights are off, this earth is 'live' but when they are switched on, it is not. So all I had to do was to relocate a new 'permanent' earth point (in this case the screw which holds the box to the chassis).
The only side effect is I can now turn on the fog lights, even if the headlights are off. Do you think this will be a safety problem (risk of fire etc.)?
