[urq] jacking points

So I'll further this thread. I need to remove the front subframe
entirely and leave the car suspended for some time. Rear end is easy as
I can leave the rear on ramps, but once the front subframe is out, I
don't think the front wheels can't be used for support. So.....are the
jacking points really safe for long-term suspension of the front end?
The last time I tried to use them, the metal under the car actually
began to deform over time. So this means:

A) They can't be used for the long-term - OR -
B) I used the wrong support points mistakenly

Any advice from folks that have BTDT? Thanks.

Is it safe to use the front and rear beams of the respective front and

rear subframes to jack up the respective front and rear ends of the
car?

-Cheers!
Mike
