If that works it sounds great
It would also mean that they are less likely to twist
Would wetting them before you put them in the freezer make them have a
layer of ice that may make them slip in even easier

Agreed,
I used the same procedure but damaged one trying to get it in.
So I put the rest of them in the Freezer and resumed the next
morning. Frozen the busings just pushed right in with the press
with NO complaints. Very easy and quick compared to doing it
with unfrozen bushings.
