Mike,

Yes, on paper and on TV...
But do they care if cars are actually still around in flesh?
Probably not..... They use old photos and old footage... works brilliantly.

You make it sound like Audi is prohibiting reproduction of parts??
I don't think they care if we do or don't.....
Audi doesn't own the tooling for tie rods, ball joints etc.... we should be
going after Lemfoder, Boge or FEB Belstein(?) etc.

Thank you... that's all I wanted to hear...

I am very fortunate not only to own two but also to be friends and in very
close proximity to few others that own one or three.. ;)
And it's so much fun to get together once a month and either bitch/complain
or celebrate yet another few kilometers in these cars.
Some are just as happy or frustrated by sitting in the garden and working on
the bare shell, which is moving along quite nicely... ;)
As the years go by we have grown a lot... all together we can have well over
15 cars in our CDN group... and that is a lot for us up here... (15% of all
the cars brought to Canada)..... I am hoping many of us can attend the next
UPG meeting...
As Mike Hopton had said plenty of times before... if it wasn't for mutual
support from groups like the quattro list etc.... he would have given up
long time ago...
So let's keep it up... do we really need Audi... I have a feeling not
really..

That's my $0.02 CDN which is now worth a lot more than last year... ;)

Cheers
