Brandon,

The K24 uses a relatively thin shaft, and small bearings. This is in
contrast to the RS2 K24 and the K26 found on the 5000 cars.

If you are attempting a larger cold side consider the 10mm shaft and
bearings instead of what you have on the K24 now.

Subject: [urq] turbo rebuilder

Hi All-
I'm looking for recomendations on a good place to have a K24 rebuilt. I
had one rebuilt by Majestic Turbo in TX with bad results (long story).
I also don't like TEC in Golden, CO.

Are there any mods that can be done to a K24 to increase performance,
like clipping the impeller or something or another..???

I understand Garrett has better technolgy these days. Is there a way to
bolt a Garrett cold side to KKK hot side and bearing. It would be nice
to get _some_ better technology but be able to keep water and oil
fittings stock. Just thinking.....these could be silly ideas...?

Brandon
