I have just had an alarm fitted to my 87 WR that I have spent 2 1/2 years rebuilding.The alarm is a Clifford Concept 500 with proximity alarm and anti-hijack etc. A good system by all accounts, one of the best.
Somehow I managed to get "Bodgit and F***it Ltd" to fit it who are Clifford approved agents. The workmanship is poor to say the least and I will be taking it up with Clifford themselves.
However the reason for the posting is that since fitting, the autocheck system no longer works. I have confronted them over this and they were immediately on the defensive virtually implying that they knew they had cocked up but "what else did I want?, its an old car, things fail". What I would like to know is, does anyone else have experience of this model of alarm and if so have you any idea what they may have done to interfere with the operation of the autocheck and voice?
I hope this makes sense. I am so incenced at this present time that I can't really think straight.
