Depends on the year.

Prior to 'E' vin (I think) the panel is held to the central console by two
screws hidden inside the top of the ash tray. Remove the ashtray flap and
you should be able to see them. Once the screw are out, lift the base of the
panel away from the console to release some tabs along the top of the panel.

Later panels are held by a screw each side hidden under the central console
trim strip. To release one of these panels you have to remove the heater
control panel, radio and ashtray to reveal all the fixings for the trim
strip.
