... I don't have a lot of experience, and that I do have is a bit farther
south than you request ... but I've had work done at Anderson-Behel Body
Shop on Aldo Avenue in Santa Clara. They did some very minor work on my urq
and some more substantial work on the first V8 ... I can't say enough good
about the quality of the work that was done in both cases. With the V8, I
wanted to see if I could get them to take care of some of the issues with
the nose of the car that were not related to the accident which were being
covered at my expense. The guy I was working with spent a bunch of time
with me exploring the options, and the end result was a car that looks great
and it didn't cost me a bunch of money to get it done.
They are pretty close to the freeway, so it may not be that much of an
inconvenience to go the extra distance ...
If you are looking for a shop that does an OK job at a more reasonable price
... last November the other V8 got rear ended by some person who did not
have insurance. The quality of the work was acceptable, not perfect if you
look closely in one spot, but they did manage to match the pearl white paint
well, so that says a little about their abilities. The name of the shop was
B&M Auto Body in San Jose ... if you think this may be more in line with
your cost goals let me know and I'll get the details ...
