[urq] goofy fenders?

I'm going to go out on a limb here ... I think it's a real quattro that's been poorly repaired (!?) or "restored."  There are too many unique features that say "urq."  If someone were working that hard to produce a fake, wouldn't all the other goofy, sloppy details be done more convincingly?
