Dennis,

When working on Brady's car last week, I found that his 1983 urQ has only
1 pressure sensor (the side-mounted unit) and nothing at the bottom. No
plug, no holes, nothing.
More, there was a 3-pins connector lying unplugged under the overflow
reservoir that looked exactly like the missing one for the missing sensor,
but the wires were way too short to reach under the bomb.

What gives? Is this a sign that the bomb/pressure block is from another
car?
Or is this a sign of the production discrepancies common to hand-built
sportscars?

reporting for another Montreal urQer that is quite silent these days...

The URQ brake light is often traced to the pressure senders on the bottom
of
the bomb proportioning valve.
There are 2 of them down there, and they gradually get worse (and leak)
till
they finally give up the fight and fail completely. They are pricey so
check
around.

That's a puzzle. I have not seen that before either. Probably as you suggest
about "handbuilt discrepancies"?
Anyone else find this before?
