Hi folks.  Well, I'm about to do it again.  Those that have been around
for a while may remember the '85 I picked up back in 2000 and drove home
across the country.  For a refresher, my narrative is still here:

Fewer of you may remember that car was involved in an accident in
February 2002.  It's a long story, but over two years later I'm happy to
say I finalized a rare insurance success story.
 
I have decided to use the proceeds to finance a new adventure.  We're
flying into Seattle late on Friday (12/17), and on Saturday the fair
Elizabeth and I will take possession of an '86 (!) in Vancouver and
proceed to drive it home to TN.  We don't have to be back until the
24th, so that gives us a few options for the route, and the flexibility
to stop and smell the roses (or gather with list folks).  Weather may
determine our path, due to the worn summer rubber on the car.  My
tentative plan is to take I-90 through MT, WY, SD and end up in Chicago
before we boogie down to TN.
 
If anyone wants to get together along the way, or try to convince me to
take an alternate route, just give me a shout.  For those that can't
meet us along the way, I'll make another web page covering the trek.
Bizarre details about insurance deal will be forthcoming too.
