Eric,

I will probably be in Chicago this weekend to shop for a new kitchen at
the IKEA store.  We had a flood and all of our cabinents are ruined, so
now is our chance to remodel.  Maybe we can hook up and have dinner with
Scott J. and the rest of the Chicago gang on Saturday or Sunday night.
How does that fit in with your driving schedule?

Yup, high miles, but ageing gracefully.  Everything checks out solid.

Steve, bay area would be great, but I doubt it'll happen unless the
weather forces it.  It's not out of the question, though.  I'll keep the
list posted along the way, so stay tuned.

I am guessing this is the red high miler that was advertized earlier
this year on audifans? A rare car indeed, good to hear its found a new
home.

Congrats Eric!  You have certainly snagged a rare bird!  Is this the car
that was repaired from a serious side impact?  It is great to hear that
you did reach an acceptable conclusion on your insurance problem ... 

Since you have a lot of time, why don't you swing down south this way?
I'll bet there are a lot of urq fans in the SF Bay Area who would love
the opportunity to see a real '86 urq!  It won't add that much time to
the overall trip ... ;-)
