You really think its even close to the same level?
Many people put later style headlights on 83s and 84s.

I don't see a problem with it and certainly wouldn't insult everyone who 
has done that to their urQuattros by
insinuating that they're bastardizing their cars in some way and should be 
on a "wall of shame".
