... in general this is not considered to be a good idea. The placement of
the injector is not conducive to even distribution of any added fuel to the
cylinders, so you may be creating more problems than you are solving by
trying to use it. Furthermore, it isn't exactly clear how well you can
meter the added fuel provided by the cold start injector. Al had something
I think was called a Micro-fueler on his car ... it used an honest-to-god
EFI injector and placed it into the airflow ... seems to me it was actually
located before the throttle body, but given the situation this should not be
a problem. If you want to consider enrichening the mixture this is the way
you should be going IMO. I think Javad's first foray into EFI was to add a
set of pulsed injectors into each intake air path to ensure even
distribution ... this would be the next best step ... but *if you are going
this far* it is much simpler to just install pulsed injectors in place of
the CIS ones and convert to EFI ...
