[urq] Imported Audis?

I saw the S2 on Ebay, so its interesting to note that 
its "currently importing" - I wonder what that means.

Having brought in a car from Germany to Canada last year.
I know some of the issues. For Canada if its 15 years 
old or more its a fairly straight forward process, although
there are plenty of hassles and its not inexpensive. For
cars newer than 15 years, you pretty much have to separate
the car into shell, engine and running gear and ship as
three separate parts to get past customs. You still have
big issues registering it.

Ironically since I am not a Canadian citizen I can bring in
a car from Europe (if I owned it previously) as part of
my relocating. However I will never be able to sell it and
the car must leave the country when I do, if the car is wrecked
I would have to ship the wreck back to Europe.....

I cannot endorse a single thing about this advert on the Marketplace List - but for those so inclined, it is so unusual that I thought someone may be intrigued enough to check it out.  It is very difficult to import a car pre 25 years for normal usage with an unrestricted title.  The whole dealer network is aligned against this and supports DOT and customs to keep these vehicles out until they meet the 25 year vintage qualification, but...

I have brought 3 cars here, ('93 BMW M5 3.8, '94 S4 4.2 V8 6 spd Avant, and a '97 S8 6 spd).
Currently importing a 1993 S2 Avant 6 spd (I had it on eBay, but it already sold).
