Ben,
5ktq and Urq trannies are identical in mounting respect...
To give you an idea 1985 Ur-q and 5ktq tranny is identical in every aspect..
The '83 just has a different locking mechanism (which you want to change
anyway) and gear ratios (the later cars have better ratios anyway).
It's a win'/win solution and BTDT on my '83 with MC engine.
