[urq] shocks too

Marcine, I beg to disagree, too much chassis lift on hard acceleration with stock shocks. Let alone the fact you will blind oncoming drivers if you have "decent" headlights like my BITCH has. I prefer the predictable taught ride from my Bilstein's. Best as Always, Bill PS you already know I am an old fart, hence ride quality sensitive... Bilstein's are rather compliant IMHO

  I have to agree with Louis-Alain re. stock shocks, however, my '83 has Eibach springs...
  In everyday commute I enjoy this combo way more than the '85 which has H&Rs and Konis...
  When driving the '83 I don't cringe every time I see a pot-hole in front of me (although after driving the '85 for 6 months it's a habit), yet at the same time it's stiff enough to go quickly on on and off ramps....

  Nice all round compromise...
