Just to add a figure:

Coupe ball joints have a 17mm shank while urQ ball joints have a 18 mm
shank. BTDT last winter and I search ALL sources known for compatible BJ
(OEM, Lemfoerder, TRW, FEBI) and the only source was a friendly lister from
OK who ordered me some NOS (new old stock). OEM was out of stock in North
America.

I'm pretty sure i have the right ball joints--857 p/n plus they were $115
each through Sunset, including our discount - dealer only item according to
Rod at TPC
