Paul, those won't fit in a WX, your part guy truly had his head up his rear. the parts are still available, get the family album to get your own correct part numbers from a CD, (something your brain dead "parts professional" can't do) and give Pedro Faria some coconuts for sending it to you. or you can use the russky site www.elcats.ru/audivw

Subject: [urq] Fuel Injector Inserts
So, about eight months ago I called my friendly Audi dealer here in Denver and ordered some fuel injector inserts for my '83 TQC. I just got around to picking them up today. The delrin insert waiting for me is completely different from the original (or my old ones have been nibbled away over the 200k miles clocked). The new ones are about 2 inches long and it seems they will shroud the injector except for the tip. My old ones are just long enough to accomodate the "o" ring groove that holds the injector in place.
When I asked the parts guy he said the old one had been redesigned and is NLA. He realy didn't know much. Couldn't even find the fiche for the WX engine. Told me there was no such designation. Kept telling me it was a WE.
I haven't gone out to the garage to see if they even fit.
Any ideas out there?
