I have BF Goodrich Euro T/A's on mine, 225/50-15. They were on it
when I bought it. One has a pretty bad cut in the tread. The car is
lowered and all 4 will rub slightly depending on the severity of the
dip/driveway and my exuberance. This morning I was pushing it a bit
and also learned that they aren't real grippy tires either. I don't
think I need many more excuses to Euro TrAsh them now.
I'm not sure 205/50's would work very well, especially if you have the
15x8's. Hell, I had that size on my CGT on 15x7's long ago. The
225/50's fit the 8-inch wheel really well, width-wise. My choice will
likely end up being a function of tire model and price with no real
concern about which size I end up with, either 215/50's or 225/50's.
