I'll just chime in and say ...

Good advice, all.  The key point here is how much *you* value originality.
The marketplace may, eventually, but there are sound arguements on both
sides and it comes down to the personal choice. "... make the car into what
you would enjoy using (and owning, maintaining, etc.) the
most."

The guys with Bugattis and Ferrari GTOs can't agree whether to race them or
pamper them either.  :-)
