Ok, considering its safe to assume I have an 016 transmission, since i know 
its not a torsen equipped car...

Per the manual, I need to locate a 3-digit letter code to determine exactly 
which transmission I have and which car it originated from.

Where is this letter-code found on the tranny?  

I need a new trans, and I dont want to pay a buttload for shipping and find 
out its not correct.  I know it's a 4:11 tranny, but the rest I dont know - but 
am being asked in the process of trying to get another.

Anyone have a known-solid 4:11 tranny out west somewhere?  Has anyone had one 
rebuilt? Experiences?
