[urq] Oil in the water (follow-up)

A few weeks ago I put up a posting regarding a major oil in the water problem on my good lady's Audi 100 and several of you replied with suggestions. Unfortunately I no longer have the replies and so can't remember who you all were (apart from, I think, Bill B).
Anyway I'd just like to say thanks for all the help. The problem is now solved.
It was the water/oil oil cooler. I even took this sucker off and pressure tested it to 60psi in a bucket of water but had no bubbles indicating a leak. I replaced the head gasket and put it all back together and the same happened again. Once again had to flush and clean the cooling system.
This time I bypassed the water feed and return to the cooler. After much hot running I found a build up of oil in the water side of the cooler. I have since been told you need to test these coolers at up to 120psi (and hot).
Anyway cooling system flushed and cleaned (again) and a new cooler has sorted it. No more oil in the water.
Incidentally those who suggested dishwasher fluid to cleanse the pipework and get the oil out were right on the mark.
I used CO-OP Dishwasher cleaner (not the stuff you wash the dishes with but the stuff that you periodically clean the dishwasher with) It is brilliant and leaves your pipes clean, oil free and smelling of lemon! The proprietory cooling sytem flushes I tried were absolutely crap.
Thanks for all the advice

Keith
