All points _well_ agreed.
I do remember however that when I was driving Austin Healey 3000s all through 70's, I did not ever imagine them ever being very "collectible". Average perfomance, no racing history, etc. to speak of, and only moderately popular when new. Value then was around $2-3k for low mileage clean cars- now $25-30k. And the're not anywhere near as rare as our beloved URQs. You just never know.
Value isn't a real concern to me. No investment intent from my end. Just want to enjoy them and keep em alive.
