Well 215/50 15 is the stock factory spec'd size for the 15x8..so I suppose
yes. The 215/50 will of course have a slightly smaller diameter
(what....5mm??) than the 225....which even seems kinda small in comparison
to contemporary cars. I know that doesn't really matter, but the bigger
diameter should give a nicer ride over bumpy roads....for whatever that may
be worth.... And speedo accuracy is not an issue IMO. I think with the
225/50 my speedo still reads right on...based on my experience driving past
those radar speed signs they put in neighborhoods and by construction zones
and stuff....
