Thanks for your E-mail and explanation... I will use your information and dig 
a little deeper into the mystery.   As it ran before, the low end was fairly 
decent, reminiscing a NA engine, but the car would barely rev to 5k, just no 
power for anything over 3k.   

As I manually turn the engine over I can here what sounds to be fluids (my 
guess anti freeze) pushed through the cylinder indicating a leaky head gasket.
