and umm, (stammer thang) what is a FLAPS? Foreign Lost Auto Part Supplier?

  IME.  It was VERY long ago so the memories are few, but the one thing you
  have to contend with is the fact that there is the fail safe system inside
  the cylinder that allows some braking to occur even if the hydraulic system
  is compromised.  The cylinder actually has two pistons, the one on the
  outside for pressing on the pads and the one on the back which is part of
  the emergency brake.  I'm pretty sure the only special tool you'll need is
  the appropriate sized hex key to drive the caliper piston (11mm ???) ... and
  the thing that was most frustrating was seating the dust boot into the
  caliper before pushing the piston back into the bore ...

  The reason I might consider rebuilding my own is that it seems that most
  FLAPS have a problem providing the appropriate rebuilt unit for urqs ...
