I think this shop is pretty trust-worthy.  Thing is most people that go there are in love with their cars and are looking to upgrade.  I have this new unknown car - and I want to find out if it's got a mortal disease before I dump to much money into it.  SO maybe I have to tame the guys enthusiasm and let him know I just want the rears worked on until I learn the car doesn't use a quart of antifreeze / week.  He looked over the whole car and it seems to be missing any serious issues other than electical problems.
