if i remember correctly, the hose is a 2.5" ID at the top, where it
connects to the igloo, and 2.25" (MAYBE 2") where it connects to the
large side of the metal reducer...
what i ended up doing was getting a 2.5" ID length of galvanized (if i
remember correctly) pipe, cut it to ABOUT 8", used two sections of 3" x
2.5" ID aircraft rubber hosing (what was left over from what the
original owner had in the car, which would collapse under boost and i
gave it some structural integrity with some metal ducting for heating
ducts), w/ concentrically smaller ID hosings that eventually made it
down to the correct ID to mate w/ the metal elbo... i did it this way
because the previous owner had it set up like this, and it acutally
seemed to work pretty well... with all the oil that ends up coating
that hose, it degraded the rubber in such a way as to cause it to sort
of 'bond' together and form a nice, cohesive, airtight seal...
yup.
