[urq] Great day yesterday got

You can take a shot with some radiator leak stop since you may trash the
core anyway...i tried and it didn't work for me, downside is that the
flow for the heater core is more restrictive than the radiator and you
can theoretically can wind up with very poor flow through the core....my
buddy who is nationally reknown audi tuner scolded me for fouling the
cooling system with leak stop crap......works fine since I replaced the
core and flushed etc.....

Hmmm,

I get a film when I don't have my defroster on, but when I open the
windows or turn on the defroster, the fog/film goes away. It definitely
smells like coolant. I probably need to replace the core too.

Anyone had this reversed behavior?
