[urq] urq lowering springs

Craig, there are NEVER stupid questions asked on the URQ list, ever.(period)
I do have a question for you, I have new springs, from Auto Techniques the
ends are identical though near the ends at one end the coils are tighter
wound than at the other end, will my ride quality be affected if I put
tighter coils on the bottom or at the top of the strut assembly? yeah, not
rocket science, a spring is not very smart.

Hi all,

This may be a stupid question.  I bought a set of H&R springs from a
friend of mine for my 84 urq. The question is does the tighter wound
part of the spring go at the top or bottom of the strut??
