[urq] winter tires

Thanks for the heads up. When I first got the car it had 225/50's and
they would rub on the inside of the fender opening when turning. I
have 215/50's on it now and no rub.
I don't know what my suspension is, I just know that's it's lower than
stock. There are some ABT parts on the car which were installed long
ago I believe. There's a boost knob and an ECU and a shift knob. I
wonder if ABT had a suspension package then as well?
The 205/60's were the stock size until the 15x8 Ronals were used,
right? I've assumed they would be fine, height-wise. They are only
4/10's of an inch taller than the 225/50's and with the stock V8 wheel
being 15x7.5 et 35, the tire/wheel will intrude less deep into the
wheel well on this inside, by about 2/10's of an inch and on the
outside, they will be a little more than an inch further in from the
fender opening. I suppose I should stick my head under there and see
if there are any visible clearance issue areas to get a better idea of
what I'm even talking about.
Thanks,
Ed
