I'm a little late with this, but I just want to point out that the Audi A3
is the next generation of the TT chassis.  Just to maximize the confusion,
the Audi A3 that we're going to get in NA is the A5-platform, vs. the TT's
A4-platform.  I suppose you could still argue it's a downgrade, in keeping
with the sentiments of this thread, but it is a newer design.
