Im doing the same.
 
The trans and new clutch are in the car as of midnight. Sunday starts with  a 
tool cleanup and an  inventory.  After that I will start putting the  
ancillaries back on the car and hope for the best.
 
I have a damaged part that may be the achilles heel of the whole trip  though.
 
Its called the gearshift lever, mounts to the shift rod that comes out  of 
the side of the tranny with the big ball on the top of it which the shift  
linkage mounts to.  The one on the old tranny had the head of the bolt  broken off 
so I had to drill out the remaining material to get it off the old  trans.  In 
the process I damaged the threads slightly but it still takes a  new bolt and 
a fair amount of torque (didnt wanna test it).
 
If anyone has one of these residing on an unused tranny PLEASE get ahold of  
me !!!
 
I need one and the special pointed bolt that secures it.
 
Im prepared to pay next day air come tuesday and whatever price it commands  
if necessary.
 
If the current setup seems to work I still want one but will likely be able  
to just get it at Park City.
